Care Notes

Before first use, rinse and follow the included care instructions. For traditional donabe care, many users seal the natural clay pores with a rice-water or rice-porridge seasoning step before cooking. Always make sure the outside bottom is completely dry before heating. Do not heat empty, avoid sudden temperature changes, cool completely before washing, and hand wash gently after use.
