Thank you for shopping with Yui Mart. We carefully pack and ship curated Japanese snacks, beverages, beauty items, personal care products, home goods, stationery, accessories, and everyday lifestyle products from New York. Please review our return and refund policy before starting a return.

Return Window

We accept eligible return requests within 7 days from the date your order is delivered. Requests submitted after 7 days may not be accepted.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it
  • In its original packaging, with all original tags, labels, seals, manuals, and accessories included
  • Unopened where the product is sealed or intended for personal, food, beauty, or hygiene use
  • Supported by proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt

Returns must be approved by Yui Mart before items are sent back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, and product integrity, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Food, beverages, snacks, candy, seasonings, and other perishable or consumable items
  • Skincare, cosmetics, face masks, personal care, hygiene, or beauty items that have been opened, used, tested, or unsealed
  • Items marked final sale, clearance, or non-returnable
  • Gift cards
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or restricted items

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If a return is approved, you may place a new order for the item you want.

Return Shipping

  • For customer preference returns, including changed mind, wrong item ordered, or similar reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is caused by our error.
  • If the issue is caused by Yui Mart, such as an incorrect item, defective item, or approved shipping damage claim, we will provide instructions and may provide a prepaid return label when required.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us promptly at yuimart.us@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box. We will review the issue and offer an appropriate resolution.

Packaging and Product Variations

Many Japanese products may receive manufacturer packaging, design, flavor, ingredient, color, or specification updates. Minor packaging differences, seasonal package designs, or manufacturer changes do not qualify as defects if the item is otherwise correct, unopened, and usable. Product photos and descriptions are provided as accurate references, but actual packaging may vary.

How to Request a Return

To start a return, email us at yuimart.us@gmail.com with the following information:

  1. Your order number
  2. The email address used for the order
  3. The item or items you want to return
  4. The reason for the return
  5. Photos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect

Please wait for our reply before shipping anything back. If your return is approved, we will send return instructions and the return address.

Refund Process

After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Refused, Undeliverable, or Incorrect Address Packages

If an order is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, or shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout, shipping costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.
