Care Notes

Before first use, rinse and follow the included care instructions. Traditional donabe clay pots are often seasoned with rice water or a light rice porridge to help seal the natural ceramic pores. Always make sure the outside bottom is completely dry before heating. Do not heat empty, avoid sudden temperature changes, let the pot cool before washing, and hand wash gently after use.
