Japan Kampo Hotate no Chikara-kun Vegetable & Fruit Wash Powder is a Japanese produce washing powder made from calcined scallop shell powder. It is designed for washing vegetables and fruits before cooking, serving, or eating.

The alkaline powder helps lift surface residue, wax, dirt, and oily film from produce when dissolved in water and rinsed thoroughly afterward. It can also be used for routine soaking of kitchen tools or tableware when followed by a proper rinse.
