S.T. Kometoban Rice Bin Insect Repellent is a Japanese rice storage helper designed for rice bins and rice bags. The chili pepper jelly uses natural chili pepper, fermented alcohol, and cuminaldehyde, a spice-derived ingredient, to help protect stored rice from common rice-storage insects.

The flexible shape can be placed, inserted, or hung inside a rice container. The jelly gradually becomes smaller over time, making it easy to see when it is time to replace. When used as directed, it is designed not to leave noticeable odor on cooked rice.
